Family photoshoot in the tulip fields
There is nothing more precious in life than the family bond. That’s why family photoshoots are so important. Not only do they allow you to have an indelible memory of your family at that moment, but they also help to strengthen the family bond and foster love and camaraderie among all members.
A family portrait can be challenging but with some skills and games, we will get the perfect family portrait.
I do always bring some things to the flower fields some props to help. For example, a blanket where you can sit comfortably and just interact between you. Also, when we arrive you will see some tulips waiting for you to use it during the photoshoot.
Jumping to another tip for family photoshoots, I would like to open the “what-to-wear” topic. You don’t need to wear all white and jeans, that’s far from the idea of being yourself. Kids do not like to be overdressed always. Let them choose between a few options.
I do recommend you choose a colour palette and intercalate between solid and a maximum of one pattern in total. Soft and muted tones are always a safe choice.
Remember to iron your clothes so you don’t have big wrinkles distracting. But if you think it is too difficult to coordinate all of you, please do not hesitate to send me some photos of your outfit before your photoshoot.
Last and not least, be open to sharing stories about your family with me, ask questions to your kids and be ready to laugh so hard. A family photoshoot is about love and fun.
Here is the list to summarize:
- Use what’s around, props!
- use clothes that feel like yourself
- choose a color palette for all of you, coordination is key
- do not forget to iron the clothes
- if you have a family story or joke, this is the opportunity to tell me!
