I’ve been taking pictures in the tulip fields for more than 50 families and couples so by now after so many years I can tell you what works the best. Let’s deep in:

Family photo ideas in the tulip fields

Some people come as a family, and they are doing a visit to the tulip fields as the main reason for their trip. With families, I like to focus on the group but also take some solo portraits. If the family comprises young children, I will try to make the session more dynamic with games.

The tulip fields do call for movement, so different positions to have the family wandering and walking around will do also the trick.

And last, take advantage of the space and give one spot to each person in the group to create different pictures like this one:

All the family is in the same “line” but the point of view gives the impression they are in between the flowers. We need to remember that this is a fragile flower so we will take care of the field.
